Here at Swallowfields, we are true animal lovers. We understand that your dogs are part of the family too, so there’s no need to leave them behind! We welcome two well-behaved dogs per spa lodge, which are fully kitted out for both you and your four-legged friend. With miles upon miles of nearby countryside to explore and plenty of dog friendly pubs and attractions nearby, why not bring your pooch away for a glorious glamping break?!

Wonderful Walkies
Swallowfields is just 5 minutes away from the magical Malvern Hills, providing endless opportunities for wonderful dog walks. The Malvern Hills and dogs are a true match made in heaven, boasting walks for all shapes and sizes – from gentle strolls along designated paths or energetic hikes upon the hills, this amazing Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty has it all! Discover the history and heritage of England’s finest countryside during a remarkable ramble around the Malverns. Please ensure that dogs are kept on a lead near grazing livestock.
Step out of our luxury spa lodges and wander directly onto Castlemorton Common: the largest remaining area of unenclosed public land. Castlemorton Common is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), with its 600 acres attracting attention since medieval times. Our personal favourite Malvern walk passes through Castlemorton Common, Gullet Quarry and Eastnor Obelisk; combining the most picturesque Malvern landmarks into one fun family adventure.
Doggy Days Out
Here in the wonderful county of Worcestershire, there is so much for you and your faithful companion to see and do! Head to the nearby Eastnor Castle for a fun day out with your four-legged friend. Eastnor is a designated Dogs Welcome tourist attraction and is one of the few historic houses in the whole of the UK that welcomes dogs to wander through its grounds and house. Owners are offered doggy-doo bags on arrival and there are dog refreshment stops situated throughout the ground. There’s even a dedicated ‘dogs-off-leads-area’ where dogs are free to run and explore.
If you’re after an educational day out with your dog, step back in time to Croome Park. Owned by the Coventry family since the 16th Century, Croome Park is jam-packed full of history and heritage. Croome Court lies at the centre of the park – a grand, majestic house created by the 6th Earl of Coventry. Discover a meandering river, picturesque gardens by Lancelot “Capability” Brown, and panoramic views across the Malverns in one of the most innovative and spectacularly designed landscapes in Britain.
Scent-sational Eateries
Worcestershire is well known as the ‘home of food and drink’, boasting many dog friendly pubs, restaurants, and cafés. Stroll to the nearby Robin Hood Inn for a relaxed and cosy dining experience. Tuck into some delicious pub food and a local ale at this dog friendly pub. Sit out in their large beer garden with secure fencing during the summer or cosy up by the roaring log fire in the winter – the possibilities are truly endless! The Farmers Arms in Birtsmorton welcomes your four-legged friend to join you for some tasty pub grub. This traditional country inn at the foot of the Malvern Hills is regularly featured in the CAMRA Good Beer guide, with their hearty food whetting the appetites of many.
If you’re after something a little different, take a short drive to The Marlbank Inn for some authentic Indian cuisine. They serve a great selection of tasty tipples and North Indian favourites in this quaint and traditional pub setting. Or head to the award-winning Plough and Harrow for a fantastic fine dining experience. Their menu combines classic British dishes and exotic international influences, all carefully crafted using the highest quality ingredients.
