Upton Jazz Festival

Held in June each year, Upton Jazz Festival is a four-day celebration of the jazz, swing and blues music from the 1920s, 30s and 40s; music that grew out of the streets and clubs of New Orleans, New York, Chicago and Kansas City.

For ten days every autumn, Cheltenham is transformed into a literary lover’s dream, as it welcomes over 600 of the world’s finest writers, actors, politicians, poets and leading opinion formers to celebrate the joy of the written word.

Tewkesbury Medieval Festival

Held in July each year, the Tewkesbury Medieval Festival is widely regarded as the largest free medieval gathering of its kind in Europe, attracting re-enactors, traders, entertainers, and visitors from all over the world. Its central feature is a spectacular re-enactment of the Battle of Tewkesbury on part of the site of the original battle of 1471.

Welland Steam & Country Rally

Set in the shadow of the Malvern Hills, the Welland Steam & Country Rally offers the entire family a whole weekend full of entertainment. It has been said that the Old Time Fairground is the best in the country. Over 100 of the country’s finest steam engines and over 500 vintage cars, motorcycles and pedal cycles are on display. There are steam train rides, a craft tent full of crafts and products for you to purchase, tractor pulling, a military display, evening shows, live music and a beer tent.

    We’re animal-lovers here at Swallowfields and we understand that your dog is a big part of your family, so why leave them behind?

    They’ll be right at home in our pet-friendly safari lodges. There’s oodles of room for them, their bed, bowls and fave toy! All that we ask, is that you keep them on a lead when walking around on-site and don’t leave them unattended.
