  • Do you provide optional extras?

Yes, we provide a range of spa treatments and delicious hampers. All spa treatments must be pre-booked. Our BBQ and breakfast hampers are packed full of local delights.

If you don’t fancy cooking, our Pegoty Hedge tasty organic ready meals for one or two, including Rich Beef Lasagne, Chicken Curry and Warming Chilli Con Carne, are available from the honesty shop. They all cook straight from frozen, so you can sit down to a meal in your lodge and enjoy the taste of home cooking without lifting a finger.

  • Do you have a shop on site?

Yes. Our shop is a small honesty shop that stocks some essential items such as milk, eggs, loo roll and firewood but focuses more on luxury bits and bobs such as local artisan food and drink and ice cream. Items are placed on an open tab, and the bill is settled at the end of your stay via a payment link. The honesty shop is also the collection point for our breakfast pastries, hampers and craft beers, ciders, wines and spirits.

We also have a local village shop stocking a wider range of essential items less than 1 mile away and a farm shop full of lovely fresh produce, including meat for your BBQ’s, a cafe, play area and chickens where the little ones can collect eggs just 4 miles away.

We have a private car park adjacent to the glampsite and just a short distance from the safari lodges.  Our glampsite is a child-friendly car-free zone. All cars must be left in the private car park.

  • How easily accessible are the safari lodges?

Our glampsite has been chosen for its character and privacy. To ensure the wildflower meadow retains its natural beauty, little development has taken place, and the site is a designated car-free zone. This means that there are no paved paths to the lodges. The land is uneven in places, making it unsuitable for people with limited mobility requiring wheelchairs and mobility scooters. During high levels of persistent rainfall, the paths may become muddy and wellies will be needed.  Please also note that there is limited lighting during the evenings to protect wildlife.

  • Do you have personnel onsite?

Yes. We are located close to the glampsite, and if you need assistance, we can be reached by phone on 01684 216445.

  • Are friends and family allowed to visit during our stay?

Day visitors are welcome. In the interest of other guests, we limit the number of visitors to 2 per safari lodge. Please inform us of their arrival and contact details in advance to make parking arrangements and know who is on-site in the case of an emergency. All visitors must leave the site by 10 pm.

  • Can we pitch up a tent up for additional guests?

We regret that we do not allow other tents on site.

  • Do we have to clean the tents when we leave?

We ask that the lodges be left clean and tidy, as you found them. Washing up is done, and bins are emptied into the relevant waste or recycling bin outside the safari lodge. The sink and fridge are to be left clean and empty, and for group bookings, equipment is put back in the correct safari lodge.

  • What extras do you recommend we bring along?

Food – If you do not intend to do a food run as soon as you arrive,  it might be a good idea to choose one of our organic ready meals from our honesty shop or pre-order one of our hampers when booking so that it will be waiting for you when you arrive.

Entertainment – Each safari lodge has a smart TV and DVD, so you might like to bring along a few of your favourite DVD’s.

Toiletries – We provide toiletries, but you might have a favourite shampoo and conditioner you want to bring along. We provide a hairdryer in each safari lodge, but you may also wish to bring along your hair straighteners.

Clothes – Even during the summer the evenings can get chilly, so bring along some warm clothes that can be layered if needed. Socks, warm nightclothes and a pair of wellies are always useful, and you will need swimwear for the hot tub. There are lots of activities to be had in our location, so please ensure you bring your favourite walking boots, cycling gear and suitable clothes and waterproofs for activities such as boating, canoeing, climbing and paddleboarding, along with a backpack to hold essentials such as drinking bottles.

Health & Safety – Remember to bring any prescribed medication, suntan lotion, and a torch is handy if you plan to go out in the evenings as the glampsite has limited lighting to protect the wildlife.

Malvern has long been associated with healthy living, ever since it originated as a spa town. Many benefits have been linked to its spring water, as well as people. Charles Darwin, Queen Victoria and Florence Nightingale are all said to have enjoyed its therapeutic qualities.

It’s a legacy that’s lived right on to this day and one we wholeheartedly embrace. Not only are we fortunate to be nestled at the foot of the Malvern Hills, we live and breathe nature and its many benefits.

Come visit our retreat and enhance your wellbeing in the best way for you, from reading a book and taking naps in your own hammock to cooking on a campfire and enjoying spa treatments.
