From pumpkin picking and fancy dress to haunted houses and ghost walks, we guarantee your Halloween will be truly spooktacular!
Malvern played an integral role in the English Civil War, and therefore has an extremely haunted past. With craggy hill peaks, narrow country lanes and isolated woodlands, the area is home to some fascinating ghost stories; including Mrs Dee’s Rock on the Malvern Hills.

Spooky Halloween at Ralph Court
This annual event is set in the grounds of an ancient Gothic rectory. Combining hundreds of glowing pumpkins, animated Halloween characters, and smoke and lighting effects, Ralph’s Court is transformed into a truly memorable venue. During the day, you will find devilish delights such as inflatables, a graveyard, and a haunted house. Throughout the evening, you can experience striking visual effects, the singing pumpkin trio, and shy ghosts; as well as a new 2021 “alien landing” show.
Spooky Halloween will run from Sunday 17th – Sunday 31st October 2021 at Ralph Court in Bromyard. Evening tickets are £15 per person, with day tickets priced at £10 for adults and £7 for children (family tickets also available). Tickets must be pre-booked in advance – click here to purchase yours.
Creepy Crawly Halloween Show at Colwall Park Hotel
Colwall Park Hotel is presenting a Halloween show like no other this October. Their interactive presentation is suitable for the whole family, taking you on a journey to discover all the creatures of the natural world. Get up close and personal with a wide range of animals, including creepy crawlies, mini-beasts, lizards, and giant pythons. Bring the kids along in fancy dress if you’re brave enough – with prizes given to the best dressed.

The Nunnery Ghost Hunt at Malvern Shopping Park
This one’s for all the adults out there! Get locked in at this brand-new ghost hunting location for a night full of horror and terror this Halloween. This haunted convent was once home to 250 nuns, with many reports of strange noises and goings on in later years. Camp out for the night and investigate this incredible historical building, using real life investigation equipment. You will be given free time to conduct your own investigations and record any haunted sightings

The Historic Ghost Walk of Worcester
Discover a side of Worcester that you never knew existed on this exclusive ghost walk. Follow our guide to discover the deep, dark pockets of this cathedral city, learning all about the ghostly experiences and historical facts of this fascinating place. You are given access to some of Worcester’s most iconic buildings through gates normally locked.
The Historic Ghost Walk will be taking place on Sunday 31st October 2021 from 8-10pm. The walk is around 2 miles long and is recommended for adults and children ages 11 and older. Click here to purchase your tickets.
Spetchley Wizarding School at Spetchley Gardens
Learn how to be a witch or wizard this October half term at Spetchley Gardens. This spooktacular event is suitable for children and their families, with children participating in 8 wizarding activities to gain their wizarding certificate. The events are run by professional costumed actors and include creating magic spells, storytelling, making charms and more. All participants are required to dress in their wizarding uniforms.
Spetchley Wizarding School will be held from Wednesday 27th – Sunday 31st October at Spetchley Gardens in Worcester. Sessions start at 10.30am, with the gardens closing at 4pm. Tickets cost £5 per child and £8 per adult. Click here to reserve your tickets.
Pick Your Own Pumpkins in Worcestershire
Pumpkin picking season is almost upon us! There are plenty of pumpkin patches in and around Worcestershire to help you create the perfect jack-o-lantern.
Top Barn Farmin Worcester is a small and simple pumpkin patch that promises a great day out for all the family. Follow the trail and pick your own pumpkin, before grabbing a spiced pumpkin latte from the Coffee Cabin. Admission is FREE and there is no need to book.
Clive’s Fruit Farmis situated in the lovely village of Upton-upon-Severn. They offer a variety of seasonal PYO fruits, as well as a nature trail, play area, farm animals and a café. Admission costs £2 per person, with no charge for under 3’s.
Country Pumpkins in Ledbury has hundreds of pumpkins just waiting to be picked. Select your own perfect pumpkin from their patch, before indulging in some tasty refreshments including hot drinks and homemade cakes. Admission costs £1.50 per person, with no charge for under 12’s.
