Accommodating up to 12 guests, it’s perfect for small, intimate retreats. Our luxury safari tents sleep up to 6 people each, set within a beautiful wildflower meadow with hot tubs. The Bali-inspired retreat tent, with lovely views of the meadow, is ideal for workshops, treatments, yoga, and meditation classes. With easy access, ample space, private parking, and a tuck shop, Swallowfields is perfect for back-to-nature retreats.

 

LOCATION

Swallowfields Retreat is part of a former 12-acre smallholding, sitting in a charming 3-acre wildflower meadow in the village of Castlemorton at the foot of the Malvern Hills. Our family story merges a passion for the land, nature, and simple living with a love of local heritage, beauty and conservation.

Just a short distance away from Swallowfields lies the iconic Malvern Hills; a truly beautiful area for nature walks, forest bathing and foraging, with ancient woodlands, castles and rolling fields to explore.

The small, picturesque towns of Malvern, Ledbury, Upton-upon-Severn and Tewkesbury are all within 10-15 minutes from Swallowfields, allowing your guests to enjoy some free time during their retreat. Discover award-winning restaurants, cafes and boutique shops, as you tuck into a delicious meal or afternoon tea whilst picking up a special purchase or two.

LUXURY ACCOMMODATION

Swallowfields Retreat offers accommodation for up to 12 guests across two luxury safari tents, each sleeping 6,  perfect for intimate nature retreats.

Both safari tents are more akin to suites in a boutique hotel and are individually named after wildflowers from the surrounding meadow, with many special touches, including our welcome artisan traybakes and hot tubs. Our luxury safari tents have a warm and cosy feel, with rich dark colours and velvet accessories – ideal for retreat guests to relax and unwind amongst the most stunning surroundings.

We can also provide a private area for retreat leaders who have their own mobile accommodation.

RETREAT LODGE

Meadow Spa is our beautifully crafted canvas retreat lodge, offering a versatile and relaxing open-plan space for retreat workshops and wellbeing activities such as spa treatments, yoga and meditation classes. Our retreat lodge is located in an idyllic setting amongst birdsong, wildflowers and butterflies. Guests can truly disconnect from the distractions of daily life and focus on creativity, personal growth, relaxation, and self care.

This tranquil Bali-inspired retreat space features warm dark green canvas, wooden floors, faux foliage, soft glow candles, a log burner and a treatment area. For added privacy, the treatment space can be partitioned from the rest of the lodge by beautiful soft drapes. A wooden deck overlooks the wildflower meadow, allowing retreat guests to take a break in between workshops and enjoy a refreshing herbal tea. Alternatively, the large lawned garden is ideal for hosting outdoor wellbeing workshops and yoga classes during the summer months.

RETREAT SPACES

There are many nooks and crannies for quiet moments and meditation within our wildflower meadow at Swallowfields Retreat.

There’s a nature hideout with willow dens and a small wildlife pond, and a croquet lawn in the centre of the meadow, and the surrounding countryside is a walker’s paradise, with plenty of fascinating trails to explore.

There is also a tuck shop on site for snacks, drinks and ice creams.

 

CATERING

The safari lodges have their own fully fitted kitchens and BBQs for retreat guests who prefer self-catering. We can also provide breakfast pastries, as well as breakfast and BBQ hampers for your retreat.

You’re welcome to use Meadow Spa Lodge for group dining.  Please note that external catering, as well as dining tables and chairs, will need to be organised, as these services aren’t provided by us.
